During practical work, engaged in scientific research in the field of narcology, the result of which was the defense of a dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences. Scientific developments focus on treatment methods that increase the effectiveness of treatment for alcohol, tobacco, and drug addiction, psychotherapeutic correction of personality changes, psychoemotional disorders, and effective methods for managing various types of addictions.

In 2019, completed ECNP training (Venice) in modern psychopharmacotherapy for mental disorders. Also in 2019, completed a full course on motivational interviewing for chemical addictions. Since 2019, consultant in positive psychotherapy (registered with the International Association of Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy).
