A range of approaches focused on processing and healing the effects of traumatic experiences.
Trauma therapy is a structured approach to processing psychoemotional trauma and PTSD. Trauma arises from intense stress or violence, but it can also develop gradually, accumulating until the nervous system reaches a breaking point, leading to neuroses, psychosomatic disorders, or clinical conditions. The individual begins to perceive the world through the lens of their trauma, shaping their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors around it. Trauma therapy involves deep work on cognitive, emotional, and somatic levels to process the trauma without retraumatization. The process culminates in restoring authentic values, emotional responses, and behavioral patterns, integrating clinical and phenomenological approaches.
