A structured approach helping individuals and couples process emotions and strengthen attachment bonds.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a structured approach to couples, family, and individual therapy developed by Sue Johnson and Leslie Greenberg. Grounded in attachment theory, EFT focuses on rebuilding emotional bonds between partners and family members. Sue Johnson’s books, including *Hold Me Tight*, have been translated into Ukrainian and Russian. EFT is one of the few approaches that can serve as an alternative to separation in cases of conflict-related violence, infidelity, or other crises. In Ukraine, this method is promoted by the Ukrainian Association for Emotionally Focused Therapy.
