I watched the movie "Mother".
The reaction is very mixed. Definitely not a film for those who aren't ready to perceive it metaphorically—if you watch the visuals and the story literally, you probably shouldn't bother. 😠
In my opinion, the film is quite therapeutic.
Without spoiling it, I'll try to describe one of my emotions—during the viewing, I felt something similar to working in psychotherapy with a client. And in their life, everything is a complete mess, just a total disaster. Yet at the same time, you see that the client is actually alive in all of this nonsense. Really, they're alive, and life is just pouring out of them, overflowing!
And at one point in the film, I "caught" exactly that feeling.
The film is hard to recommend; it’s definitely for fans, especially of arthouse cinema, but I definitely liked it!
