A nature-based approach using ecological awareness to support personal and group development.
ИEcofacilitation is a brief psychological intervention designed to prompt rapid shifts in a client’s mindset. Typically within a single session (up to 50 minutes), individuals begin to reframe their thinking, discovering constructive ways to address challenges while enhancing their capacity for self-regulation. The creator of this distinctive approach is Dr. Pavel V. Lushin, a doctor of psychological sciences and professor.Ирина Игоревна Крюкова
РTo better understand, take a look at the article on ecofacilitation, available here.
Here’s an excerpt from the article:
Imagine a child experienced a psychological trauma at age 5, which developed until age 12 and peaked at 13. Over time, it began to fade as new people entered their life, they went through hormonal changes, and between 16–18, they started reading books and attending psychological workshops. By 20, they sought help from a psychologist.
An ecofacilitation psychologist views the client as someone who has been working on their issue for 15 years—meaning a solution could be just around the corner, perhaps today or tomorrow. While the psychologist may explore the past, they don’t dwell on it, recognizing that the client has already navigated countless challenges in their history, both negative and positive. The turning point comes when, for reasons known only to the client, they seek professional support. At this stage, the psychologist’s best approach is to help the client reframe their life not as a series of hardships but as a full, lived experience. Otherwise, how else did they manage to reach this point and create a better life for themselves?Роман Васильевич Макаренко
