My name is Igor Turlakov, and I’m delighted to welcome you to my page!

I’m 51 years old and a practicing psychologist with rich life experience.

I hold three higher education degrees, including one in psychology.

You’re about to experience profound changes that will give you a new life philosophy, a fresh perspective on life, and a deeper understanding of existence.

While resolving current difficulties isn’t overly complex, it’s far more rewarding to learn how to live mindfully, joyfully, and purposefully.

I work with those who not only want to address immediate challenges but also understand and resolve the root causes behind them.

Our work together will focus on your feelings, emotions, and desires—the core of your personal journey.

I continue to refine my skills as a psychologist and psychoanalyst through the training program "Theory of Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy" at the South Ukrainian Psychoanalytic Society, following the standards of the European Confederation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.

I participate in psychoanalytic and psychotherapeutic supervision projects such as "Psychoanalysis: From Theory to Practice" and am currently writing my PhD dissertation in psychology at the I.I. Mechnikov Odessa National University.

A little about myself:

I’m 51 years old.

I was born and live in Odesa.

I’ve been married for 31 years and have a wonderful family and a grandson.

I’m the founder of Degree Consulting Group LTD—a global educational and consulting agency that helps obtain higher education and language courses abroad. The company is registered in the European Union.

I’ve been in business for 26 years, so I can relate to entrepreneurs on a professional level. I understand the challenges they face and the psychological issues that come with running a business.

That’s why mentoring is another area I specialize in. I support young entrepreneurs at the start of their ventures, providing psychological guidance until their business takes shape.

I hold three higher education degrees, but I never stop learning.

In 2021, I earned my ISSA Inshore Skipper license (marine-based psychotherapy through curated tours). I also worked at sea under contract, so I’m well-versed in the challenges sailors face. I’m currently writing my PhD dissertation in psychology at the Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University.

I’m on track to earn a PhD in psychology and am studying psychoanalysis at the South Ukrainian Psychoanalytic Society, adhering to the standards of the European Confederation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
